Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of advanced AI models, algorithms, and applications to address complex business problems.
- Supervise the progress of all AI departments, including GenAI, SmartCity, AI Research, and Portfolio AI solutions.
- Identify and prioritize AI projects based on business impact and strategic goals.
- Stay informed of the latest advancements in AI, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead initiatives to enhance existing capabilities.
- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure successful delivery of AI projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Demonstrate expertise in solving computer vision-related problems, including real-time object detection, segmentation, tracking, and large multimodal models.
- Exhibit proficiency in natural language processing methodologies, such as automatic speech recognition, text-to-speech, sentiment analysis, and large language models.
- Supervise the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Foster a culture of innovation by effectively leading and collaborating with teams, aligning AI efforts with organizational goals.
- Implement performance monitoring processes to track AI model performance, analyze feedback, and drive iterative improvements.
- Engage in research and experimentation to explore innovative AI techniques and methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to AI technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI team members, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies into existing systems and infrastructure.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related technology field.
- 12 years or more of professional experience in AI systems development or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various AI models, algorithms, and applications, including NLP, computer vision, and optimization.
- Strong background in machine learning and deep learning concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages used in AI, such as Python, and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience in leading teams, setting strategic AI direction, and driving success in AI initiatives.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Commitment to innovation and staying informed about emerging AI technologies and trends.
- Knowledge of methods to enhance the explainability and interpretability of AI models.
- Ability to plan and create long-term strategies for high-quality datasets for training AI models.
- Commitment to ethical use and responsible AI practices.
- Proficiency in assessing qualitative aspects, such as user experience and business impact.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices specific to cloud environments (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Proven problem-solving skills using advanced AI methods and tools.
