We currently have an urgent opening for a DevOps Engineer with over 7 years of experience at Synechron in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of production environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions.
- Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and applications.
- Write and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes, including edge computing.
- Mentor the team and explain DevOps concepts, best practices, and edge computing principles.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
