Position

The Country Technology Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of applications in the production environment for business and operational functions. This role includes implementing and maintaining in-country data centers and infrastructure, such as servers, networks, storage devices, external connectivity gateways, and telephony systems. The successful candidate will engage with various teams on new initiatives, rollouts, and problem resolutions and act as an interface between business/operations stakeholders and technology domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the country technology budget and drive key technology initiatives and risk management.
  • Coordinate with vendors to keep local systems and infrastructure updated.
  • Conduct service review meetings and advise on potential technology risks.
  • Oversee high severity incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain the stability and capacity of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Support the digitization and simplification of processes within the organization.

Skills and Experience:

  • Sound understanding of IT infrastructure and banking systems.
  • Strong analytical ability and effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Knowledge of change management and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and excellent relationship building across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Preferable Master’s Degree in Technology or related field.
  • Training in leadership programs and certifications in project management are desired.

Language Requirements:
Proficient in English and Arabic.

Work Conditions:
Hybrid, Full-time.
