Also to help Saudi’s passionate gaming sector to develop homegrown IP and more broadly, make KSA a global hub for gaming,As part of the Steer studios team, you will work alongside the best global gaming talents who have relocated to Riyadh to be part of the ambitious group, and innovative, passionate and hardworking Saudis.Steer Studios is seeking a Senior IT Administrator with experience and expertise in setting up and managing robust infrastructure and management of computing systems. In this role, your responsibilities include designing and implementing multiple networks and user solutions for the Steer studios team. You would be the critical member leading and ensuring the services have high availability and robustness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This is a hands-on position requiring the performance of preventative maintenance on an assortment of infrastructure services needed for the studio production and operations.
  • Assist with all L2 escalations with regards to Firewall, Switches, Network equipment, Storage, Virtual Machines, and SaaS services.
  • Manage permission, rules, and policies of various software used in the company.
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory group policies, login scripts, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Maintain Active Directory and virtual servers.
  • Build and configure Windows and VMWare servers.
  • Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design, and standards for the studio.
  • Oversee data backup and restoration processes.
  • To maintain documentation for various IT solutions architected, deployed, and used in the organization.
  • Efficiently monitor deployed services and support automated reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Assist in end-user support (level 3 and above).

Qualifications and Key Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Be open and flexible to adapt to a constantly evolving production environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • 7+ years of Systems Administration and Support experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Storage or Virtualization Administrator is preferred.
  • Strong ITSM management skills. Hands-on experience with ManageEngine/ServiceNow products preferred.
  • Windows server installation and administration (Active directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, DFS/R, Office 365).
  • Linux configuration and administration skills (RHEL/Ubuntu).
  • VMware/Nutanix/Hypervisor, installation and administration via vCLI/API/Ansible.

Bonus Skills:
Software: JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Perforce, ManageEngine, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Inventory, Miro.
Languages: Python, SQL, PowerShell, Bash.
Scripting and automation.
Familiar with A/V systems.
