DevOps Engineer

We currently have an urgent opening for a DevOps Engineer with over 6 years of experience at Synechron in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of production environments.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions.
• Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and applications.
• Write and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes, including edge computing.
• Mentor the team and explain DevOps concepts, best practices, and edge computing principles.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
