We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hadoop Developer with DevOps experience to join us in our Dubai office. This role presents an opportunity to develop your skills in a pioneering technology company, where you'll work with a highly collaborative and growing team to support our cutting-edge core platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Implement automation processes to streamline data operations and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on data systems.
- Strong background in the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, and HBase.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Puppet, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
