Sr. Solution Architect

About the Job:

Synechron is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to develop designs, patterns, and blueprints for network and network security solutions across various environments, including datacenter, campus, branch & ISP connectivity, and cloud network architectures on platforms like Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards related to networks and network security on-premise and in cloud environments (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, UAE CPR).
• Guide implementation engineers in transitioning designs into operational frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and assess the impact of proposed solutions on network and security.
• Work closely with security architects and engineering teams to maintain consistent application of network and security principles.
• Identify and propose improvements in processes, architecture, or technology.
• Develop solutions to mitigate identified risks within network and network security ecosystems.
• Demonstrate leadership by taking responsibility for the overall technical direction of projects.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues while suggesting remediation options.

Qualifications:

• MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
• 6+ years of experience in network/network security engineering.
• Technical Architect experience with hands-on knowledge in network/security development and system management.
• Advanced knowledge in Networking & Network Security concepts and devices for On-Premises & Cloud implementations.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD tools).
• Network certifications such as Cisco CCIE, CCNP, CCDA, and security certifications like CISSP, CISM are preferred.
• Cloud certifications relevant to Solution Architecture, Networking Architecture & Security Architecture are desirable.
