Position

We focus on driving modernization and digital optimization for large financial services and technology firms. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Technology Engineer to join our Dubai office within 30 days.

The Technology Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Branch/Office activities such as new setups and renovations. This role involves assisting with the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of audio/visual systems and services, ensuring the timely delivery of initiatives while meeting customer expectations. Key responsibilities include managing current applications, keeping them updated, and investigating future solutions to enhance user experience. The engineer will attend internal customer meetings, work closely with various internal teams, and assist in determining requirements and tracking the progress and quality of work performed by IT vendors.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components and audio-visual technology.
  • Ability to set up, interconnect, and operate audio/visual equipment, including LCD projectors and screens.
  • Knowledge of branch solutions and building management solutions.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux servers, as well as network servers and technology tools.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
  • Understanding of databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
  • Proficiency in creating scripts in Python, Perl, or other languages.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to explore new technologies and integrate innovative ideas from the industry.

Prior Work Experience Required:

  • 5+ years related to setting up branch infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a banking operational environment or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in ITIL Service Management processes: Change and Release.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English is required.
