We are seeking Product-minded Engineers who understand our business and customer challenges, allowing us to handle issues more effectively and efficiently.
Role Summary
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data) to continuously assess customer and business needs.
- Design, write, and release software solutions for end-to-end problems within your business domain, delivering value in small batches according to our engineering standards.
- Understand the scalability and complexity of your services, owning and innovating in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Support the optimization of team practices to foster a self-organized, continuously improving unit.
- Critically analyze and simplify our technical organizational systems, processes, and solutions.
What You Need to Be Successful
Beyond excellent technical skills, we are looking for someone who is willing to take end-to-end ownership of a specific area or initiative and is driven by empathy for user needs. A growth mindset and a willingness to explore innovative work methods that optimize co-creation and continuous improvement are essential.
Relevant Experience Includes:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships easily.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A humble, curious, and open-minded approach with a focus on continuous feedback.
- Familiarity with lean/agile values, principles, and practices.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably within an Extreme Programming environment (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, and Continuous Refactoring) using languages such as .NET, Golang, and C#.
- Experience in automated testing, with a focus on end-to-end quality.
- Proficiency in Distributed Systems Architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, and RESTful Services).
- Exposure to relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and experience in Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery.
