As a Data Architect, you will leverage your solid data management experience, including Data modeling, Data Quality, ETL, and Reporting, to support day-to-day data science activities and enhance the work experience within the data domain. The role requires strong collaboration with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and reporting teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with project and stakeholder management abilities, are essential.

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for two scopes of work:

Data Units Support
- Act as a data management consultant for our data science teams:
- Guide the creation of data models and ETL pipelines following best practices in terms of performance, quality, and cost.
- Review production deployment requests and advise on changes to comply with established standards.
- Support the team in tuning data solutions.
- Align priorities and plan weekly/monthly activities.

Horizontal Initiatives
- Identify gaps and shortfalls, building end-to-end data solutions to:
- Reduce data platform activities cost.
- Enhance data pipeline performance.
- Build/Maintain data products supporting data quality and governance.
- Create and enhance data quality gates solutions.
- Identify data quality and governance shortfalls, perform root cause analysis, and advise solutions and monitoring mechanisms.
- Act as a production support guardian for the entire data platform ETL pipelines on a rotational basis.
- Partner with data engineering and reporting teams to support data units and align on horizontal initiatives across the data platform.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
- Solid data modeling experience with 5-8 years of experience.
- Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, data warehouse architectures, and datasets.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes.
- Strong analytic skills related to unstructured datasets.
- Build processes for data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a growth mindset.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- A 'keep it simple' approach to problem-solving.
