Role Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic Accounts, MENA to manage a part of Talabat’s enterprise business across 8 countries. As portfolio lead for these business groups, you will be the regional point of contact externally, driving commercial enterprise strategy with projects spanning business growth, customer experience, monetization, operations, and profitability for Talabat.
What’s On Your Plate?
- Lead a portfolio of 2-3 business groups across 8 countries and support up to 3 countries in managing key accounts through a key account excellence workstream.
- Act as the regional point of contact for Talabat, representing the business across 8 countries while working directly with regional and local teams of partner organizations.
- Own and lead the strategy and execution of all cross-functional workstreams for large business groups collaborating with Talabat across the region, including:
- Growth and performance
- Marketing & campaign management
- Regional monetization strategy
- Data, analytics & insights management
- Operations - Tech & POS
- Operations - Customer experience
- Commercial strategy & profitability
- Strategic, long-term negotiations
- Logistics
- Content operations
- Drive thought leadership on Talabat’s enterprise portfolio alongside the function lead and country management teams.
- Collaborate with the analytics lead to develop dashboards for key stakeholders and teams cross-functionally to measure key success metrics.
What Did We Order?
- 7-9 years of work experience focused on enterprise business management and cross-functional project management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Advanced skills in:
- Stakeholder management
- Program & project management
- Analytics, insight management & visualization
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and GSuite tools.
- Ability to think strategically, break down complex problems, and connect the dots across departments.
- Previous experience in food tech is a strong asset, although e-commerce/tech business experience is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of an online marketplace business, with the ability to identify and navigate an ecosystem with multiple complex product and process interdependencies.
- Experience in long-cycle enterprise commercial negotiations and delivering successful cross-functional, high-complexity projects that impact growth, profitability, and customer experience.
- Proven capability in process optimization and a sharp eye for foreseeing business risks.
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of substantiating business cases and delivering projects on time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex technical information clearly to various audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
