Your role
As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner with cross-functional teams focused on transforming how people shop, pay, and bank. You will balance a strong desire to understand user behavior and business performance with a passion for crafting highly functional and emotionally significant experiences. Your thoughtful approach will encourage questioning the status quo and exploring ways to enhance user experience through emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate open-ended, conceptual ideas into tangible product features.
- Lead end-to-end design processes, from initial research to polished UI/UX designs, ensuring top-tier execution.
- Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill complex actions into user-friendly interfaces.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback from designers and the broader product team to continuously improve quality.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, creative designers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch.
- Represent design to the broader product team and leaders, articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience designing and shipping features with an end-to-end experience across various platforms.
- 6+ years of interaction design experience with the ability to define how an experience should operate based on user needs while considering scalability.
- Proficient with prototyping tools to demonstrate interaction flows effectively.
- 6+ years of visual design experience with expertise in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and understanding how these elements affect product functionality.
- 6+ years of strategic product thinking with experience in developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on their impact on users and the company.
