Data Modeler

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Data Modeler to analyze bank needs, design data models that support business processes, and supervise the implementation of these models in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves working with two existing data warehouses while a Unified Data Warehouse is being built to merge them.

Responsibilities:

• Design Logical Data Models (LDM) and Physical Data Models (PDM) that are futuristic and scalable.
• Develop a strong knowledge base within the banking domain, including Retail, Wholesale, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and Cards.
• Create appropriate documentation such as program code, flowcharts, and technical requirements.
• Perform design implementation and support of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and data structures within all layers of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment.
• Drive the design of data structures using tools like SAP Power Designer.
• Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have experience with SQL and data modeling tools.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data modeling.
• Sound knowledge in the banking domain.
• Experience with databases and data systems, ideally with SAP Sybase.
• Familiarity with SAP Power Designer is required.
