About the Job:
As an IT Specialist focusing on presales and project delivery, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales process, designing tailored IT solutions, and overseeing the successful implementation of projects while supporting the teams during operations. This role bridges technical expertise with business acumen to deliver value-driven solutions for clients, with potential travel required, including to risky countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose suitable IT solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
  • Develop detailed solution designs, including architecture diagrams, Bill of Materials (BoM), and cost estimates.
  • Assist in proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
  • Oversee IT project scope lifecycles from initiation to completion.
  • Serve as the technical lead for deployment and configuration of solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, developers, and third-party vendors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions to advise clients effectively.
  • Provide support to operations teams for any IT requirements arising from customer requests.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS).
  • Extensive knowledge of servers, storage, and backup technologies.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with load balancing and security solutions and practices (e.g., IDS/IPS, SIEM, Sandboxes, EDR, Firewalls, and hardening).
  • Knowledge of container solutions (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenShift).
  • High-level knowledge of database platforms (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL).
  • Experience in planning and executing IT project scopes, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Strong understanding of system integration and enterprise architecture.
  • Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions and strategies.
  • Understanding of Business Continuity planning.
