We are seeking an OpenText Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our OpenText-based content management systems. This role requires leveraging expertise in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and OpenText architecture.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement OpenText-based solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's content management strategy and architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution architectures.
- Lead the development and maintenance of technical documentation for OpenText-based solutions.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of OpenText-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest OpenText product releases and roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
Development Activities:
- Solution Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom OpenText solutions, including workflows, forms, and integrations.
- Custom Component Development: Create custom OpenText components to extend platform functionality and enhance user experience.
- Integration Development: Develop integrations between OpenText and other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, SharePoint) to promote data exchange and interoperability.
- Scripting and Automation: Write scripts to automate tasks related to OpenText systems, increasing efficiency and productivity.
- API Development: Develop custom APIs for seamless interaction between OpenText and other systems.
- Data Migration and Integration: Develop and execute strategies to ensure data integrity and consistency during migrations to and from OpenText.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Participate in QA and testing to ensure the reliability and performance of OpenText solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of OpenText architecture, including Content Server.
- Experience with ECM best practices and content management methodologies.
- Strong technical skills in areas such as Java, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Good to Have:
- Experience with cloud-based content management systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Certification in OpenText or related technologies.
