Sr DevOps Consultant

The Sr DevOps Consultant is responsible for delivering a dynamic system infrastructure and automation platform to support an agile software development process and cloud-based OpenShift platform ARO, ROSA. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing a DevOps platform that encompasses build automation, deployment automation, test automation, SDLC orchestration, environment management, monitoring, and production release procedures. The role also involves developing deployment scripts on the platform for integration, orchestration, and automated software deployments, as well as leading and establishing continuous integration and delivery processes. Additional duties consist of raising and following up on required change requests and tickets, gathering requirements from business users, coordinating between project and business teams during execution, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assisting with go-live activities, tracking and resolving service and vendor support issues, and documenting processes and improvements.

Experience Required:

• 7+ years of experience in configuration management within large-scale Agile development environments.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, including branching and merging strategies.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Urban Code, and integration with JIRA alongside test automation tools like IBM RTW (Appium) and HP Load Runner.
