• Job Purpose: The Blockchain Specialist should possess a strong foundation in designing and deploying scalable, high-availability systems within the financial and blockchain sectors and be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our technical architecture. The ideal candidate should excel in modern programming languages, tokenization, blockchain frameworks, and smart contract technologies. You will play a critical role in creating efficient systems that blend conventional and blockchain technologies & your expertise will drive the development of an integrated platform that is robust, secure, and compliant.
• Role and responsibilities:
  • Design and architect blockchain tokenization and ‘Blockchain-as-a-Service' solutions that align with business goals.
  • Lead the technical planning and business integration of tokenization projects from conceptualization through to execution and post-launch enhancements.
  • Evaluate, propose and lead the implementation of smart contracts, blockchain network (including public, permissioned and private) and cross-chain interoperability solutions in accordance with business needs.
  • Manage and oversee deployment of smart contracts and blockchain networks, ensuring security best practices are adhered to throughout development.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic architectural vision for the company’s digital asset ecosystem, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate, manage and implement them into technical solutions.
  • Lead the architectural design of new systems, platforms, and integrations, ensuring they align with business goals, technology, security and blockchain standards.
  • Provide guidance to the development team and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing system architectures to enhance performance, reduce costs, and facilitate scalability.
  • Lead and participate in architectural reviews and provide expert advice to the team on blockchain and cryptographic technology-related matters.
  • Engage with clients and partners as an expert as necessary, highlighting the company's robust technical expertise, instilling confidence in our technological prowess, and guiding technical discussions to underscore the company’s leadership position.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems architecture, with a focus on financial systems, fintech, and blockchain technology.
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable, high-availability systems.
  • Strong knowledge of secure software development practices and understanding of cryptographic principles.
  • Proficiency with modern development languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, React, etc.).
  • Proficiency with blockchain frameworks (e.g. Hyperledger, Ethereum, Quorum, R3, etc.), layer 2 solutions (e.g. ZK rollups, state channels, etc.) and smart contracts.
  • Experience with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Huawei) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certified System Architect credentials are highly desirable.
