the company is seeking an Apache Mechanical Technician - General to join the AH-64 Qatar Air Force Maintenance Augmentation Team (MAT) located at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on the AH-64E aircraft and functioning as an air crew member as required. The position involves extensive hands-on work with aircraft systems and subsystems, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform AH-64E aircraft maintenance tasks using the QAF specific AH-64E IETM, AH-64E Operators Manual, AH-64E Maintenance Test Flight Manual, and AH-64E Check List Manual.
• Remove and install aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components, including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls.
• Service and lubricate aircraft systems, subsystems, and components.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions.
• Use common measuring tools, precision measuring gauges, and alignment fixtures.
• Perform routine and special inspections on aircraft and related components.
• Conduct maintenance operational checks.
• Diagnose and solve problems with aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required.
• Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools, Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE), and Peculiar Ground Support Equipment (PGSE).
• Prepare aircraft maintenance forms and records. Provide on-the-job training (OJT), coaching, and mentorship to QAF personnel in the use of applicable technical publications, tools, and equipment.
• Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components.
• Coordinate assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of systems.
• Fix complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Coordinate training efforts for team members.
• Work under general direction and be prepared to travel on short notice, both domestically and internationally.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 6+ years of experience with AH-64D or AH-64E aircraft.
• 3+ years of experience with Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation (ULLS-A(E)) and Enhanced Logbook Automation System (ELAS) entries.
• Successfully completed a U.S. Government armed forces aircraft maintenance course or civilian equivalent training.
• Contractor factory training or equivalent training by industry is acceptable if approved by the PCO or their designated representative.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Possession of Airframe and Powerplant license or equivalent.
• Army Service School Instructor or civilian equivalent instructing experience for Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technicians.
• Prior experience or qualification in another aviation maintenance field.
• Experience working in the Southwest Asia/desert region.

Contractual and Employment Details:
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Al Udeid, Qatar. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of the company U.S.-based payroll. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all Qatari labor and immigration formalities.
