This position involves patrolling all areas of the property to ensure safety and security, assisting guests with room access, and conducting emergency response drills. Responsibilities include daily physical hazard/safety inspections, handling investigations and interviews, and performing key control audits. You will monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas, and assist guests and employees during emergencies. Responding to accidents, contacting EMS, or administering first aid/CPR as necessary is also part of the role. Completing reports while maintaining confidentiality, defusing disturbances, resolving safety hazards, managing interruptions and complaints, and escorting unwelcome individuals from the property are additional responsibilities. Compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and using proper codes for assistance callout is critical. Providing necessary documents to employees is also a requirement.

You will assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees and serve as a role model regarding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. It is essential to follow all company policies and procedures, report incidents and unsafe conditions to management, complete safety training and certifications, and maintain a professional appearance. Essential tasks also include welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, and addressing concerns professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property and secure rooms
- Conduct emergency response drills, safety inspections, and key control audits
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize access to secured areas
- Assist guests/employees during emergencies and respond to accidents
- Prepare and complete reports while maintaining confidentiality
- Defuse disturbances and handle complaints
- Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws
- Provide necessary documents and training to employees
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and team support
Physical Requirements
- Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided
- Move objects exceeding 75 pounds with assistance
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces; ascend/descend stairs and ramps
- Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Read and verify information in various formats, including small print
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers or POS systems
- Move quickly as required to respond to work situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
- License or Certification: None required
