About the Role
In this client-facing role, you'll help shape a seamless end-to-end Credit and Lending journey within Credit & Capital Management (C&CM). Supporting Relationship Managers and Coverage teams, you will bring credit management into a single control point that encompasses structuring, credit analysis, rating recommendations, and client credit monitoring. Your success will be defined by delivering timely, high-quality credit applications and renewals aligned to agreed OKRs, SLAs, and KPIs. You'll work closely with Coverage and Transaction Support teams to ensure a consistent and seamless customer experience while embedding strong controls and thoughtful risk escalation throughout the Credit and Lending process.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver BCO tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Own the end-to-end Credit and Lending servicing journey from RM handoff through completion.
- Prepare credit analysis, financial assessment, and rating recommendations on behalf of Relationship Managers.
- Coordinate client review and renewal activities including customer outreach and research.
- Negotiate credit terms and documentation with WCMR and clients, acting as a single handoff point for C&L tasks.
- Participate in deal discussions and meetings with clients and credit risk as required.
- Embed first line risk management and control standards across the credit lifecycle to protect the bank.
- Maintain internal control standards including timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations and addressing issues raised by external regulators.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a similar corporate lending role; experience in a regional bank or consulting practice is advantageous.
- Strong analytical capability with sound credit knowledge and proven corporate lending experience.
- Excellent risk assessment and management skills to support credit quality and returns on risk.
- Demonstrated understanding of financing instruments and banking products within Wholesale Banking.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to navigate complex situations and align senior leaders.
- Clear understanding of Group credit risk principles, policies, and statutory compliance.
- Effective communication and influencing skills across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to partner constructively with risk colleagues to balance commercial outcomes and risk management.
- Aiming to improve productivity and client experience through consistent process discipline and adoption of technology and customer experience initiatives.
