About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff. You will patrol all areas of the property, assist guests with room access, and conduct emergency response drills. Daily responsibilities will include performing physical hazard and safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. You will also monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas, and assist in emergency situations by responding to accidents and administering first aid/CPR as required. You will compile information and complete reports while maintaining confidentiality, and you will be tasked with defusing disturbances, resolving safety hazards, escorting unwelcome persons from the property, and ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.

Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Assist guests with room access and conduct emergency response drills.
- Perform daily physical hazard/safety inspections and investigations.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and authorize access to secured areas.
- Respond to emergencies, accidents, and administer first aid/CPR.
- Gather information, complete reports, and maintain confidentiality of documents.
- Defuse disturbances and resolve safety hazard situations.
- Handle interruptions and guest complaints professionally.
- Escort unwelcome individuals from the property.
- Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.
- Provide proper paperwork to employees and assist management in coaching and mentoring staff.
- Follow company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clean professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Engage with guests courteously and address service needs while thanking them with appreciation.
- Communicate effectively with others using clear, professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and support teamwork.
- Perform all other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None required.
- Able to read and visually verify information in various formats.
- Ability to inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
- Competency in using computers and/or point of sale systems.
- Must be able to move quickly to respond to work situations.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, and to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
- Capable of working in confined or elevated spaces and moving over uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Must possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
