As a Business Design Specialist, you will help clients design new products, services, and experiences by applying human-centered design principles. Your role will be central in conducting research, supporting innovation initiatives, and collaborating with a diverse team of strategists, designers, and technologists.
The Work
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting customer, market, and stakeholder research
- Creating customer journeys, service blueprints, and personas
- Supporting innovation and design-thinking workshops
- Translating insights into actionable business recommendations
- Developing storytelling materials and executive presentations
- Collaborating with strategists, designers, and technologists
- Supporting product and service innovation initiatives
Here's What You Need
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in business design, service design, strategy, innovation, or experience consulting
- An understanding of Design Thinking methodologies
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Bonus Points If You Have
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- Experience in consulting environments
- Experience using research and workshop facilitation techniques
- A background in UX, service design, or product design
Contract and Travel Details
This position may include opportunities for travel as necessary to meet with clients and support project initiatives. Specific travel requirements will be determined by project needs.
