Cyber Security Specialist

About the job

• GovCIO is currently hiring for a Cyber Security position in ASAB, Kuwait, SAB, KSA, and UDAB, UAE.
• Correlates threat data from various sources to establish the identity and modus operandi of hackers active in client's networks.
• Provides assessments and reports facilitating situational awareness and understanding of current cyber threats and adversaries.
• Develops cyber threat profiles based on geographic region, country, group, or individual actors.
• Produces cyber threat assessments based on entity threat analysis.
• Provides computer forensic and intrusion support in the form of computer evidence seizure, analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.
• Researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.

Qualifications

• High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
• Clearance required: Secret
• Meet certification requirement of DoD 8570.01-M or the TO
• Possess certifications from designated groups like Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate, GIAC Certified Perimeter Protection Analyst (GPPA), CompTIA Security +, Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
• Lead-level experience in various IA technology or design, maintenance and operation of networks, administrating user accounts, managing servers, conducting hardware repair, software installation, and management.
• Expert in all functions of the IAT Level I and Level II positions as defined in DoD 8570
