Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the management agreement and any Owner/Lease agreement.
- Provide effective and efficient control through a focused system of internal control.
- Monitor compliance with company policy and accounting procedures.
- Ensure legal and tax compliance and maintain adequate insurance coverage.
- Liaise and collaborate with both internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken where necessary.
- Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures.
- Support and advise the management team on financial and commercial matters.
- Manage the formulation, review, and approval of budgeting and strategic planning within the hotel, identifying value opportunities.
- Ensure a regular cycle of forecasting occurs, with content and detail appropriate to the operational needs.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to protect the health and safety of guests and employees, as well as to conserve the environment.
- Comply with the hotel’s environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- College/university degree graduate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with previous experience in the Middle East.
- Computer literate with effective communication skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
