This position provides strong technical engineering expertise related to Maintenance Contracts tasks across RPI Maintenance designated sites. The role focuses on the coordination and delivery of cyclical operational, maintenance, and inspection contracts in accordance with technical standards to maintain assets. Key responsibilities include developing, using, and updating the SAP Maintenance database system for contract activities, managing customer contracts within the operational asset side, implementing quality assurance processes, and guiding junior engineers in contract matters to ensure a cost-effective and efficient maintenance function. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, create, and modify contracts while collaborating with legal and procurement teams for negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with existing contracts, monitoring and enforcing terms and conditions, and utilizing existing templates for operational functions.
- Manage a specific area of the refinery, ensuring operational compliance and effective coordination with various teams.
- Lead daily planning meetings to coordinate schedules and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Conduct stakeholder collaboration, working closely with maintenance, engineering, procurement, and contractors.
- Oversee and participate in daily maintenance planning, ensuring accurate representation of resources required.
- Ensure effective financial management by developing and overseeing maintenance budgets, CAPEX, and OPEX tracking.
- Prepare comprehensive, detailed scopes of work and schedules for tenders, ensuring clarity and minimizing delays.
- Implement safety and environmental compliance measures and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
- Generate performance reports and monitor compliance to suggest improvements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrument Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in contract support, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and expertise in SAP (PM, MM, FM Modules).
- Familiarity with performance management and shutdown jobs, and solid experience with contract management and procurement processes.
- Proficient in Primavera, Maximo, MS Project, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of maintenance contracts, material science, international codes and standards, and environmental health and safety plans.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of budgeting, cost control principles, and ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
