Your key responsibilities
- Manage clients’ compliance and reporting needs, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships.
- Day-to-day management of client engagements, monitoring progress and deliverables.
- Implement standardized processes, identify risks, escalate issues, and drive performance-improvement solutions.
- Supervise high-performing teams and foster a positive learning culture through coaching and counseling of junior team members.
- Ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.
Skills and attributes for success
To excel in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and possess management experience. Comfort in working across borders with a diverse network and handling large volumes of data is essential.
Qualification and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or a related field with strong academic credentials.
- An advanced degree such as an MBA or professional qualifications e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in domestic and international tax regulations, ideally within a large professional services firm or similar environment.
- A strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing.
- Proven managerial, organizational, and project management experience.
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred; fluency in English is required.
Ideally, you will also
- Have experience dealing with multinational clients and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Possess in-depth commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge.
