In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and safety of building operations and maintenance. Your role involves overseeing various maintenance activities, managing contractor services, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will need a solid understanding of building systems and have the ability to perform preventative maintenance effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and regulations.
- Oversee and perform preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, flooring, and grounds maintenance.
- Manage contractor services and ensure contract compliance and quality of work.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Implement and follow administrative procedures for reporting maintenance activities.
- Conduct inspections and audits of building systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Job Knowledge
- Knowledge of applicable safety requirements in the maintenance and operations of buildings.
- In-depth understanding of dairy principles and processes related to building systems.
- Familiarity with relevant equipment, policies, and procedures.
- Proficient in administrative and clerical procedures for effective reporting.
- Proficient knowledge of ERP systems with a focus on SAP functionalities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, trades, and materials.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance scheduling techniques.
