How You’ll Make An Impact
- Drive service sales and business development activities across assigned countries and market segments (e.g., Utilities, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, EPCs, Industrial clients).
- Perform relay testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting at client substations, with knowledge of structured programming and communication techniques, as well as familiarity with the company relays and other manufacturers.
- Troubleshoot system protection problems effectively, understand various protection and communication schemes, and supervise the installation and commissioning of automation systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of protection systems for all equipment in substations up to 400 kV voltage level.
- Train site operators in equipment use, ensuring the availability of site-specific manuals and documentation.
- Consult with clients to determine their needs and priorities.
- Provide written procedures for switching, energization, and isolation methods for testing and maintenance work.
- Coordinate, oversee, and manage substation technicians and electricians, maintaining professionalism with all stakeholders.
- Lead and supervise the protection team while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.
Your Background
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to interpret and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
