The Firefighter will play a crucial role in safeguarding life and property while engaging in firefighting and rescue operations. This position requires effective response to all fire protection dispatch calls while treating injuries and minimizing loss of life and damage to property. The Firefighter will also participate in various training programs to enhance skills in firefighting and rescue operations.

Responsibilities
- Provide fire protection services to ensure adequate, proficient, and prompt response to all fire protection dispatch calls.
- Perform structural, crash, and confined space rescue procedures.
- Participate in the department’s established fire training programs.
- Proficiently operate fire apparatus and related equipment.
- Maintain apparatus by cleaning, washing, testing, hanging hoses, and polishing vehicles.
- Complete and submit Fire Protection Response reports as specified by NFIRS within required timelines.
- Available to work on Bahraini and U.S. holidays.
- Obtain medical certification to perform job duties.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by Supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Graduate.
- Firefighter I and II, Airport Firefighter, CPR AHA or Red Cross, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, NREMT-Basic, Tender Driver Operator, ARFF Operator, and Confined Space Rescue certifications.
- Public Safety Tele-communicator I & II Certification.
- All firefighter certifications must be current and posted on the DOD, IFSAC, or Pro-Board Accreditation website or be able to be reciprocated to DOD.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI security clearance.
Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with an organized fire department.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Excellent communication and cognitive skills for effective handling of emergency operations.
- Strong computer skills for daily reporting requirements.
- Good interpersonal skills to promote effective team and group dynamics.
