Your Key Responsibilities
As a Manager, you will:
- Manage and lead tax compliance and advisory work for clients within the insurance sector across the BBC and our global network.
- Focus on key issues in domestic federal, international, and state/local taxation, implementing tax strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Manage tax compliance accounts for general insurers, reinsurance, and captive insurance companies.
- Oversee relationship management by building enduring relationships with key employees of clients, managing staffing and economics of engagements, and analyzing engagement results to enhance client service.

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
To Qualify for the Role You Must Have
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant tax experience; or an advanced degree in tax or law with a minimum of 7 years of relevant tax experience.
- A CPA (or equivalent internationally recognized accounting designation), Enrolled Agent and/or LLM certification, or the ability to obtain either within one year of employment.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and SSAP 101.
- Experience providing income tax support for audits and tax compliance for insurance companies as well as C Corporations.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- SEC experience.
- Proven experience in managing teams and client relationships.
