About the Role
Lead a team of Project Services staff to deliver on key areas including Cost Management, Budget Control, Planning and Scheduling, Contracts, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Document Control, Project Reporting, and general administrative services. The focus will be on the successful execution of the Bul Hanine EPIC Project, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the Project Services team to ensure effective execution of project controls and related functions.
- Facilitate cost management and budget control processes.
- Coordinate project planning and scheduling activities.
- Manage contracts and procurement processes.
- Supervise accounts payable and document control functions.
- Provide project reporting and general administrative support.
- Ensure implementation of industry best practices aligned with the company's systems and standards.
- Assist in the development of project execution strategies, engineering processes, and project management strategies.
- Familiarize with engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities for offshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Practice effective communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills to lead the team effectively.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, particularly with IOC, EPIC Contractor or Oil & Gas Company for major project implementation.
- At least 8 years of experience in a Head/Lead Project Control Engineer position within an Engineering Design Consultant or EPIC Contractor in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficient with planning and scheduling software packages, including Primavera P6, P6 Analytics, Primavera Risk Analysis, MS Project, MS Office, and SAP.
- Experienced with the implementation of industry best practices and adherence to company systems and processes.
- Strong background in developing project execution strategies and project management processes.
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up for offshore projects.
- Strong management skills complemented by effective communication, conflict resolution, and presentation abilities.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University; a higher degree is advantageous.
- Membership of a recognized professional engineering association/institution is preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
