Key Responsibilities
- Understand the business, its strategy, drivers, products, budgets, forecasts, and employee issues, including the hopes, fears, likes, dislikes, and key influencers within the organization.
- Coach and prompt business managers to think strategically and consider the impact of changes on the organization, maximizing the use of people to achieve success.
- Foster open, constructive dialogue between employees, managers, and leaders.
- Influence at all stages of business strategy development and implementation, contributing to decision-making processes.
- Evaluate HR services from the client’s perspective.
- Develop strong strategies to address business problems.
- Proactively add measurable value, clarifying the needs of both the business and HR while evaluating outcomes.
- Assist HR leaders in aligning HR strategies with business strategies, leading policy development and strategy discussions.
- Drive workforce planning, support organizational change, and facilitate organizational development through recruitment, employee development, and compensation strategy (not implementation).
- Perform other departmental duties related to the position as directed by the Head of Department.

Qualification
About You
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of job-related experience.
- Excellent understanding of best practice HR management theories.
- Proficient in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with best practice HR practices and processes, including case management, employee relations, and organizational design.
- Strong coaching skills with experience leading HR projects.
- Experience within the Retail or Travel Industry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with working in diverse workforces.
- Data analytical skills and advanced Excel skills are a plus.
