Investment Operations Senior Specialist

About the Role
Join us as an Investment Operations Senior Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting investment activity through structured project delivery and close collaboration across functions. Reporting into the Investment Head, you will work as a core member of the investment team and act as a subject matter expert on technically focused initiatives. This role is well-suited for someone with solid investment and operational experience who can navigate complex environments and drive delivery through strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution related to Private Banking and Wealth Management accounts, products, and services.
• Manage client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
• Collaborate across teams to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in processes.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Create reports and presentations on performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practices in services.
• Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness within the Private Bank and Wealth Management sector.

• Engage in complex data analysis from multiple internal and external sources to creatively and effectively solve problems.
• Communicate complex information effectively, including sensitive information that requires careful handling.
• Influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in investment activities, with a solid understanding of investment and operational processes.
• Strong project management experience, defining business requirements, and working with Technology teams.
• A good understanding of settlements, including dependencies, controls, and operational considerations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and manage expectations across teams.

Highly Valued Skills and Experience

• Experience with Avaloq in an investment or operations context.
• Hands-on experience in escalation management, adept at identifying issues and driving resolution.
• A history of process improvement focusing on operational efficiency, control enhancement, or resilience.
• Experience in custody management, including asset servicing and associated operational processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.

This role is based in Monaco.
