Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement quality engineering practices and processes for teams within an agile release train in accordance with quality standards and best practices.
- Ensure adoption of modern delivery practices for quality products and services built using world-class engineering practices.
- Collaborate closely with project members, technical product owners, architects, and software engineers to translate complex requirements into robust end-to-end tests.
- Manage testing of cross dependencies with other release train teams.
- Configure test tools for accurate metric collection for program and enterprise-wide dashboards.
- Support Software Engineers in writing and maintaining automated functional tests through continuous integration.
- Maintain and adapt automation frameworks to ensure robust end-to-end tests.
- Ensure Quality Gate requirements are understood and met by the team.
- Assist the Principal Quality Assurance Engineer in coordinating major delivery initiatives across multiple domains and environments, ensuring no customer impact.
- Support team development and understanding of technologies and processes.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or relevant experience; an iSQI Certified Agile Tester is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in Information Technology with experience in quality engineering roles, particularly with large software solutions.
- Solid experience as a Software Quality Engineering lead or equivalent, managing multiple products.
- Strong understanding of system thinking in advanced technology solutions for large organizations.
- 3+ years' experience with automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, or similar.
- Proficient in at least two programming languages, preferably JavaScript and Java.
- Highly experienced in developing automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Strong expertise in context-driven and exploratory testing.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with VMs and containers in cloud environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with operational environments such as Airline Operations, Crew Management, or similar domains.
