The Network Administrator will provide technical support for Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference (VTC) systems. Responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC and network systems. The role also involves checking the supportability status of AV/VTC and network infrastructure, scheduling upgrades during non-peak times, and ensuring that network equipment is ready for meetings.

Key duties include:

  • Supporting Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and related network monitoring solutions.
  • Configuring, testing, and maintaining firewalls and other network security measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) prior to production rollout.
  • Providing training and documentation support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification required.
  • A high school diploma or GED with at least 8 years of relevant technical experience, or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience in at least three of Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Cisco network switches/hardware and perform security scans.
  • Capability to reconcile security weaknesses identified during compliance checks.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.
  • A valid/active U.S. passport is necessary.
