Position

The company is seeking a Network Administrator for our Sigonella, Italy location. This role is part of the CNIC Regional Offices, where we aim to improve operational performance and reduce costs through business process definition, analysis, and the development of technical capabilities that automate processes or enhance transparency for analytics and decision-making.

The Network Administrator will provide technical support to Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference (VTC) systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC and network systems.
  • Monitoring vendor supportability status for AV/VTC and network infrastructure systems, particularly regarding End Of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS).
  • Managing necessary accounts for downloading or upgrading operating systems and firmware for AV/VTC and network devices.
  • Scheduling patching or upgrades during non-user impact times.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
  • Providing administrative support, including scheduling classified and unclassified meetings and ensuring AV/VTC and network equipment is prepared for operations.
  • Supporting the development, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of WAN, LAN, NAS, SAN, and VPN solutions.
  • Implementing and maintaining firewalls and disaster recovery networks.

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification.
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT or Cyber Security; or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience in at least three of the following areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Skills in troubleshooting Cisco Network switches/hardware.
  • Ability to run ACAS scans and complete DISA STIGs on network devices.
  • Valid/active U.S. Passport is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
