Network Administrator

About the Job:
We are seeking a Network Administrator to make a significant impact in our Sigonella, Italy location. As part of the CNIC N6 team, you will provide vital support for Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems. Your responsibilities will include maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC and network systems.

In this role, you will:

• Monitor and assess the status of AV/VTC and network infrastructure systems, ensuring vendor supportability.
• Acquire and maintain necessary accounts for downloading or upgrading operating systems or firmware.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of AV/VTC and network systems.
• Ensure AV/VTC and network equipment are prepared for operation before scheduled sessions.
• Support the development and maintenance of Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and network monitoring solutions.
• Assist in the implementation of firewalls and disaster recovery networks.
• Provide training and documentation support as needed.

Qualifications:

• An active DoD TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
• A High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Cisco network switches/hardware.
• Ability to complete ACAS scans and DISA STIG’s on all network devices.
