Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC and network systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Continuously check vendor supportability status of AV/VTC and network infrastructure, providing recommendations on EOL or EOS issues.
  • Manage accounts required for downloading or upgrading AV/VTC and network device operating systems or firmware.
  • Schedule and perform patching or upgrades during non-impact times for users.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders in support of installation and maintenance of AV/VTC and network systems.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling of CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED meetings and ensure AV/VTC and network equipment is ready for operation.
  • Support the development, design, configuration/setup, test, maintenance, and upgrade of WANs, LANs, NAS, SAN, S2S VPNs, and remote VPNs.
  • Test designs and configurations to ensure they meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) prior to production.
  • Assist AV/VTC and network installers as required and provide training and documentation support as needed.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have:

  • An active DoD TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
  • An up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification.
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Cisco Network switches/hardware and run ACAS scans to remediate inconsistencies.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • A valid and active U.S. Passport.
