Network Administrator

Join the company as a Network Administrator in Sigonella, Italy, and make a difference every day. This position involves providing technical support to Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems. You will be part of the CNIC Regional Offices, which play a crucial role in improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC and network systems.
• Monitoring the supportability status of current AV/VTC and network infrastructure systems and providing recommendations on EOL or EOS issues.
• Scheduling and performing system patching or upgrades during off-peak hours.
• Coordinating with stakeholders for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
• Ensuring AV/VTC and network equipment is ready for operation before scheduled meetings.
• Supporting the design, configuration, and maintenance of Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN).
• Testing configurations to ensure they meet established Service Level Agreements (SLA) prior to production deployment.
• Acting as backup to the Network Administrator in providing PAC STAR support.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification needed.
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, or Training.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Cisco Network switches/hardware.
• Ability to perform ACAS scans and complete DISA STIG’s on network devices.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Valid, active U.S. Passport required.
