As a CNIC N6 Network Administrator, you will provide technical support to Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems. This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
In This Role, You Will:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and administer AV/VTC and network systems.
- Monitor AV/VTC and network infrastructure systems for vendor supportability status, and provide recommendations to address End Of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) issues.
- Acquire and maintain the necessary accounts to download and upgrade AV/VTC and network device operating systems or firmware.
- Schedule and perform patching or upgrades during non-peak hours.
- Coordinate installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
- Provide administrative support for CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED meetings, ensuring AV/VTC and network equipment is ready prior to meetings.
- Develop, design, configure, test, maintain, and upgrade Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and network monitoring solutions.
- Test configurations to meet established Service Level Agreements (SLA) before deployment.
- Act as a backup to the Network Administrator in providing PAC STAR support.
- Provide training and documentation support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification.
- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT, Cyber Security, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience in Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
- Ability to troubleshoot Cisco network switches/hardware.
- Experience running ACAS scans and completing DISA STIGs on network devices.
- Ability to reconcile weaknesses identified during scanning/STIGing.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
- Valid/active U.S. Passport required.
