Position

The company is seeking a Network Administrator at our Sigonella, Italy location. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact daily by improving operational performance and cost reductions through the analysis and development of technical capabilities in business processes. The Network Administrator will provide technical support for Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and administer AV/VTC and network systems and components.
  • Monitor the supportability status of AV/VTC and network infrastructure systems, including End Of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) issues, and provide recommendations to mitigate these concerns.
  • Acquire and maintain accounts for downloading or upgrading AV/VTC and network operating systems or firmware.
  • Schedule and perform system patches or upgrades during non-user impact times.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of AV/VTC and network systems.
  • Support the configuration, testing, maintenance, and upgrade of Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and other network solutions.
  • Provide administrative support for CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED meetings and conference rooms.

Requirements:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • An up-to-date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Cisco Network switches/hardware.
  • Familiarity with ACAS scans and DISA STIG compliance.
  • Ability to reconcile identified weaknesses from scans.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Valid/active U.S. Passport required.
