Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Payments Operations business plan, strategy, and annual objectives in alignment with global and country requirements.
- Implement the Target Operating Model (TOM), which includes appropriate migration, standardization, automation, and potential outsourcing of activities.
- Establish and achieve goals for production quality, service quality, financial performance, operational risk, and agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead and support regulatory, transformation, and operational change programs, ensuring understanding and effective implementation of impacts.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, global and regional Operations teams, Risk, Technology, Transformation, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and customer advocacy by enhancing service quality, efficiency, scalability, and the overall experience of business partners.
- Maintain effective operational governance, including controls, policies, procedures, business continuity, information security, compliance, supplier contracts, and control-monitoring plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Payment Operations, including relevant products, services, systems, and processes.
- Understand key payment activities such as remittances, investigations, screening, and charges processing.
- Maintain a good understanding of Kuwait’s payment systems, operational risk, and control requirements.
- Apply effective problem-solving skills and sound judgment to resolve complex issues, while considering alternative solutions.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently with senior stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
- Prioritize workloads and independently manage tasks under pressure, while contributing effectively within a team environment and meeting quality and timeliness expectations.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to support collaboration and issue resolution.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree.
