Product Repair & Modification Technician (Aerospace Products)

About the Role
The company is currently seeking a C-17 Product Repair & Modification Technician to support Global Services at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. This position is part of the on-site C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program maintenance team, which supports the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) C-17 aircraft stationed at the airbase. The technician will engage in both organizational and intermediate level maintenance activities to ensure the functionality and readiness of C-17 Globemaster III aircraft in alignment with KAF mission requirements.

Position Responsibilities

• Participate in organizational level maintenance activities such as flight line tasks, including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, component replacement, and structural repair.
• Engage in intermediate level maintenance activities, including back-shop tasks like component repair, test set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections.
• Competency in reading, comprehension, and speaking the English language is necessary as all technical data and training are provided in English.
• Lead the assembly, disassembly, and/or modification of systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of aerospace vehicles.
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Direct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Oversee validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance, including repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results.
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Lead and supervise others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of aerospace vehicles (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations).
• Provide training and mentorship to others.
• Work under minimal direction.

Security Clearance Requirements
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance post-start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 5+ years of C-17 maintenance experience.
• Current (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain a work visa depending on the requirements of the country.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience in avionics systems.

Typical Education/Experience
Education and experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., high school diploma/GED) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate + 2 years of related work, Bachelor, etc.).
