Context
The objective is to provide substantial O&M support for the E&M Transformation Programme, ensuring improvements are identified, implemented effectively, and embedded into daily operations.
Missions/Main Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the joint E&M Transformation Framework.
- Drive the practical implementation of the E&M Improvement Programme across Metro and Tram O&M, coordinating various interfaces to ensure improvements are integrated into everyday activities.
- Provide support across relevant workstreams and with stakeholders to translate identified improvement opportunities into coordinated, sustainable operational enhancements.
- Coordinate objective assessments for maintenance optimization, evaluating opportunities against safety, operational, and cost considerations.
- Facilitate the implementation of E&M transformation initiatives by providing practical O&M input to operational and organizational changes.
- Verify the sustainability and effectiveness of implemented improvements and confirm that new processes, controls, and practices are integrated into business operations with supporting evidence.

Profile/Skills
Essential Experience
- Practical experience in railway, metro, or tram operations and maintenance
- Broad working knowledge of E&M maintenance rather than narrow expertise in specific systems
- Experience in collaboration with engineering, operations, maintenance planning, safety assurance, and subcontractor teams
- Understanding of preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance
- Ability to interpret maintenance evidence, technical submissions, asset condition information, and operational performance data
- Proven experience in implementing improvements in a live operational environment
- Familiarity with ISO 55001-based asset management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in electrical, mechanical, systems, railway or maintenance engineering, or an equivalent relevant discipline
- Professional engineering or asset management membership is desirable
