How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Lead the project team, defining guidelines, allocating tasks, and motivating internal and external resources to meet project milestones.
- Provide performance feedback on allocated resources.
- Define all project plan documents including scope, financial plans, schedules, and risk management plans in collaboration with the Project Controls department.
- Ensure adherence to execution best practices and monitor project progress and resource utilization effectively.
- Oversee financials, including invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
- Identify and manage project risks and pursue opportunities within the project.
- Share lessons learned and ensure formal project closure, including contract acknowledgment by the customer.
- Manage contracts and claims according to policies and agreements.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure necessary services and materials, supporting negotiation and project changes.
- Act as the main contact for customers and handle project-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Adhere to applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines, embodying the company's core values of safety and integrity.
Your Background:
- 10+ years of experience in HVDC project management and electrical contracting.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage workloads.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage professionally with customers and employees.
- Good knowledge of project scheduling, planning, estimation, procurement, and cost control.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
- Clean full driving license and security clearance to comply with BS7858:2019.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
