About the Role
The QHSE Engineer is responsible for leading, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Management System for the Doha facility. This role is critical in driving continuous improvement in quality performance, safety culture, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while supporting the strategic objectives of the business.
The successful candidate will collaborate across functions to implement best practices, drive process improvements, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Quality Management
- Lead, develop, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Doha facility.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality performance and operational effectiveness.
- Plan and execute quality programs supporting regional and business objectives.
- Harmonize quality processes and activities across the Measurement Solutions organization.
- Maintain ISO 9001 documentation and certification requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory bodies such as FM and ATEX for audits, approvals, and compliance activities.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are assigned, implemented, and tracked to closure.
- Organize and facilitate Quality Review Meetings.
- Support incoming inspections, incoming quality control activities, and non-conformance management.
- Manage customer inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and closure of findings.
- Manage product holds and non-conformance reports.
- Maintain calibration systems and measurement equipment calibration processes.
- Support internal and external audit planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Monitor risk management activities and support quality improvement projects.
- Analyze quality data and recommend improvement actions.
- Develop reports to communicate quality performance and compliance results.
Health, Safety & Environmental Management
- Drive compliance and continuous improvement in ESH performance.
- Execute safety programs aligned with MEA ESH strategic objectives.
- Align local ESH processes with regional and global requirements.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from global ESH communications.
- Act as focal point for safety-related internal and external audits.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for audit findings.
- Recommend equipment, process, and procedural improvements to reduce workplace risks.
- Ensure employees receive appropriate HSE training and awareness.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate EHS performance metrics.
- Support implementation of the company's environmental principles and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure compliance with global safety requirements.
- Monitor and maintain action items within the Velocity EHS system.
- Organize site safety walks and safety committee meetings.
- Prepare, review, and deliver Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
- Participate in global and regional HSE meetings and reporting processes.
- Manage labor hour reporting and monthly EHS performance reporting.
- Ensure HSE documentation remains current and effectively communicated.
- Identify PPE requirements and support ergonomic improvement initiatives.
- Deliver local and global HSE training programs.
- Drive employee participation in safety initiatives and Velocity EHS programs.

For This Role, You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
- Strong knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with quality audits, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- 2-3 years of experience in a QHSE role.
- Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001.
- Experience in manufacturing, project-based, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of Velocity EHS or similar safety management systems.
- Experience conducting Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and incident investigations.
- Demonstrated success driving quality and safety improvement programs.
