Position

The company is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the implementation of the quality program across various functions, including engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning. This role will report to the Project Quality Manager and is responsible for ensuring compliance with project and ISO 9001 requirements. The Quality Assurance Engineer will assist in developing quality management system tools and metrics, coordinate audits and inspections, manage corrective actions, and guide project teams on quality matters to foster continuous improvement.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quality Manager in communicating project quality program requirements to the project team.
  • Implement People-Based Quality (PBQ), Closed Loop Corrective Actions, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and support internal and external audits of project quality programs.
  • Liaise with client quality representatives during audits.
  • Monitor quality activities across engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Coordinate site and vendor inspections, maintaining accurate inspection records.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Evaluate subcontractors’ quality systems during prequalification.
  • Provide training on quality requirements and procedures to project personnel.
  • Report quality progress to the Project Quality Manager.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (required).
  • ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA approved) – required.
  • Additional certifications in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) – preferred.
  • Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a supervisory role in quality.
  • Experience in QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and ISO standards.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and quality plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in root cause analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
  • Experience in developing and conducting training materials and quality audits.
