An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join the Sales team at the company. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving sales within the hotel, focusing on building relationships with corporate clients and promoting the unique offerings of this luxury destination. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan that aligns with the hotel’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned sales calls on a daily basis.
- Conduct site inspections as needed.
- Conduct regular competitor surveys on events being held at competitor hotels and follow up with introductory letters.
- Attend/schedule lunch entertainment for key accounts when required.
- Chair a sales briefing once a week pertaining to the corporate business environment in the markets.
- Schedule calls to be made one week in advance and share this information in the daily sales briefings.
- Develop a practice of weekly sales call planning to enhance time management, sales objectives, and client engagement.
- Organize business entertainment, including luncheons, dinners, and cocktails to connect with clients and foster confidence in the Hotel Management team, introducing the General Manager whenever possible, as well as the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM).
