Security Network Engineer

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of various security systems, including FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, F5 BIG-IP ASM, HP Tipping Point, and FireEye APT. You will play a crucial role in managing network security through VPN solutions and other security measures, while also ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Firewall & Security Management: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, F5 BIG‑IP ASM, HP Tipping Point, and FireEye APT systems.
• Network Security: Manage VPN solutions (AnyConnect), ACS/ISE, DNS security, and secure remote access.
• Information Security: Design system security, apply cryptography (DES, RSA), and implement risk management strategies.
• Cloud Security: Support Azure and GCP environments, ensuring secure integration with business processes.
• Incident Response: Investigate and resolve advanced threats, including APTs, intrusions, and malware.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain security policies, procedures, and audit records.
• Collaboration: Work with IT, cloud, and business teams to align security with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in network and security engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, F5 BIG-IP ASM, HP Tipping Point, FireEye APT.
  • Strong knowledge of VPN, ACS/ISE, DNS security, and advanced InfoSec concepts.

Certifications

• Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, F5 ASM, Azure Security, HP Tipping Point IPS, FireEye APT.
• Cisco ASA5500 expertise; CCIE Security preferred.
• BlueCoat Proxy certification desirable.
