Senior Coordinator Quality Control

We’re looking for a Senior Coordinator Quality Control to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store "tMart", which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Iraq!

Responsibilities

• Manages quality of inbound/outbound products in the warehouse as per the quality standards set by the company.
• Oversees quality, freshness, and food safety of products in a distribution center as they flow from suppliers through distribution centers to stores.
• Inspects quality of adequate samples of inbound and outbound warehouse products to ensure predefined quality standards are met.
• Ensures 3rd party compliance with company policies and procedures for all activities related to stock management (inbound, storage, handling, and outbound).
• Communicates with the commercial team regarding quality of products being received into the distribution center.
• Conducts cycle counts.
• Conducts regular checks on ready-to-ship orders.
• Reports/Escalates any major issues noticed to IC management in a timely manner.
• Monitors performance of warehouse activities and practices, and prepares management and technical reports.
• Determines/Recommend required enhancements and/or training needs for 3rd party staff and discusses with management.
• Assesses/Reviews implementation of approved policies & procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in FMCG Retail business.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in English Language, Arabic preferred.
